Video Lesson: Early Life of Andrew Jackson

We have taken another step in our efforts to increase the visual richness of educational materials: Please have a look at 6 minutes video about Andrew Jackson’s early life. We find it quite easy to perceive.

This lesson is a collaboration effort between GetArchive and the popular educational project “Reading Through History” that was founded by two Western Oklahoma teachers and a designer. We augmented the “Reading Through History” scholastic material with visuals found on Picryl, the largest search engine for public domain media. The music used in the video is also in public domain from vast Internet Archive collections.
